“Our imaging compounds (Photosensitizers) can be activated by Photodynamic Therapy(PDT) for cancer treatment.”

Photosensitizers (Tracers, Media….)

Our technology is based on +25 year of R&D in imaging agents and Cancer treatments develop at the Rowell Park Cancer institute, in Buffalo-New York. We developed 3 core compounds capable to offer fluorescence, guided surgery and treatment with PDT. Our compounds are surpassing the existing imaging agents on the market, some developed 40 years ago. Our products show not toxicity and can be used repeatedly with no side effects for the patient like the traditional skin Photo-sensitivity of the patient when exposed to the Sun.

Photodynamic Therapy cancer treatment

Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a treatment that uses a drug, called a photosensitizer or photosensitizing agent, activated by a particular type of light.

Each photosensitizer could be activated by laser light at a specific wavelength. This wavelength determines how far the light can penetrate into the body and tissues. Our compounds are only avid of cancer tumors and cancer tissues. When the photosensitizers are exposed to this specific wavelength of light, they produce a form of oxygen that kills cancer tumor and nearby cancer cells.

This technology has been developed at the Roswell Park cancer institute in Buffalo New York. Dr. Pandey, Director of Ami Onco-Theranostics, LLC and Founder/CSO of Photolitec, LLC have been one of the worldwide leader for the development of PDT and new Imaging agents. This technology have been licensed to Ami Onco-Theranostics, LLC from Photolitec.
